We are looking for an additional board member for BOOKBRIDGE Foundation. Are you passionate about developing people while making a difference? Then apply until May 24, 2020 by sending your application to carsten [at] bookbridge.org.
Why are we looking for an additional board member?
Our action learning programs with impact are at the core of our Vision 2025. As our current board members cover the areas of social enterprises, finance and legal, we are looking for an additional board member who brings in expertise in people and leadership development.
What does a board member usually do?
As a board member, you meet every 3 months for a 2 hour Zoom Conference with your 4 fellow board members. In this conference, you review progress being made in our programs and countries while discussing challenges as well as strategic priorities in moving towards our Vision 2025. Every year, you get the chance to participate in our Leadership Week with all BOOKBRIDGE Team and Board Members. The Leadership Week takes either place in Europe right after the Summit or in one of the BOOKBRIDGE Countries. You meet our Family of Bridgebuilders at the Summit which takes place every two years.
Who are you?
You have in-depth expertise in people and leadership development.
You have been an active member of our family for a longer time.
You like to contribute towards our Vision 2025.
You enjoy working together with people from other cultures.
You are generally open to requests for support beyond the board meetings if it touches your area of expertise and responsibility in the board.
You ideally have a strong affiliation to one or few of our Bookbridge countries.
You add even more diversity to our Board and team.
If your answers are ”Yes” for all the above questions, then the position is for you!
How does it work?
If you are interested in learning more about the position as board member of our Foundation, please contact Carsten for further information. The application deadline is May 24, 2020 and we plan to make a decision during our next board meeting on June 19, 2020.
