What do we expect from you?
Fully participate in our capability program working online and offline with a team of professionals and our program coaches. This includes participation in all sessions as well as acting as key contact for the team of professionals throughout the program.
Treat your fellow team members, both local and international teams, as co-creators and assist your local counterparts to build relationships with the international team after module 1
Send monthly reports using Google Forms and Teamwork to your investor and your team as well as attend bi-yearly update calls on Zoom until the loan has been repaid
Contribute to the Community Hero guidelines by sharing your best practices in running the social enterprise
Contribute to workshops by expressing your expectations and agreeing to share your lessons learnt and best practices with others
Run impact assessment workshops in your community and publish impact selfies of those impacted by your activity on the BOOKBRIDGE Website
Share your impressions and lessons learnt from these exchange programs in a blog post on the BOOKBRIDGE Website as well as in reporting back to BOOKBRIDGE Community Heroes in your country

How does it work?
Upon review of your application, the country partner will conduct a video interview.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews with our social entrepreneurs and will be visited by the country partner.
Top listed candidates will be invited for a final panel interview with the BOOKBRIDGE board members, leadership team, and alumni
If you are selected as a social entrepreneur, we visit your community as a next step. In a community meeting, we will take time to understand the current situation and the perceived needs of the local people. Based on this, we compile a briefing note which serves as a basis for the program. We will recruit additional local candidates for the program.
We engage you in a 6-month program, beginning in April, 2022 with a team of Mongolians and professionals from abroad to develop your business idea into a functioning social business. Your full-time role as the entrepreneur of the business allows for a high degree of self-responsibility. You earn your salary through income generated from your business with the continued support of BOOKBRIDGE.
We begin the program with a kick-off module in your community. You will get to know your team members and introduce your design challenge. Over the 6-month program, you and your team will turn your vision into reality, resulting in a tangible social enterprise which is run by you as its entrepreneur.
What challenges are waiting for you?
Setting up a social enterprise: You will work with a team of local and foreign candidates from our Capability Program who will support you and your team in researching, planning and setting up your social business.
Social enterprise management: You manage daily operations together with local staff. You are responsible for reporting to BOOKBRIDGE.
Development of business: You direct the design and implementation of the business, which inspires and engages the local community.
Maintaining network: As founder of your business, you work closely with BOOKBRIDGE. You develop and maintain relationships with our partners and the local community.

Passion to make a difference: You are not focused on yourself but you define yourself by your impact on others.
Entrepreneurial fiber: You have started tangible projects and initiatives by yourself already. You are aware what it means to work by yourself without a fixed salary.
Strong values and ethics: You show good self-understanding and confidence.
Rootedness in the community: You are well-rooted in the community. You are a networker and you know how to motivate others to support your idea. You have the support of your family to be a social entrepreneur.
